A new series of geothermal heat pumps has been introduced: it will allow you to save up to 6 times and have free coolness

A series of new industrial geothermal heat pumps "IGLU Max" has been introduced to the market. It is an innovative product of the company IGLU TECH, intended for public and commercial objects, apartment buildings.

Industrial geothermal heat pumps "IGLU Max" work efficiently, their efficiency is high even when the outside temperature is very low. Therefore, they are reliable.

"By producing heat from free natural energy, users of geothermal systems will ensure minimal costs of heating and cooling rooms, not to mention reducing the amount of CO2," says UAB IGLU TECH CEO Artūras Lopeta, presenting the industrial "IGLU Max" models.

"IGLU Max" heat pumps are produced in various capacities - from 24 to 90 kW. When more power is required, these pumps can be connected in cascades to generate the required power, for example up to 1000 kilowatts.

IGLU Max industrial heat pumps, like all pumps manufactured by IGLU TECH, have a passive cooling function, that is, cold is taken from outdoor wells and coolness in the warm season costs nothing. If passive cooling is not enough, you can choose pumps with active cooling. The two methods differ in terms of costs: active cooling involves turning on the compressor and thus incurring energy costs.

"IGLU Aleut" - local management through the application and without the Internet

"IGLU Aleut" heat pumps are designed for the inhabitant of a modern house. They are extremely efficient even at very low outdoor temperatures and provide free cooling in summer.

Protecting the environment, these pumps can be used not only for heating and cooling, but also for preparing hot water.

"IGLU Aleut - the only products on the market with a local control function in standard models, which allows you to control the device through a mobile app even where there is no Internet connection," says A.Lopeta, noting that some other manufacturers are already implementing this function. , but it is charged additionally. IGLU TECH provides premises management at no additional cost. This function is especially useful during construction, when the facility does not yet have Internet access, and when installing geothermal heating, it is necessary to control and evaluate the operation of the pump throughout the process.

IGLU TECH is the only one on the market that has installed online and local control in the heat pump. All this is included in the base price. So the functions that make the pump unique in the market do not cost extra.

"IGLU Aleut" is already used abroad, and the company's circle of partners has expanded to Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Norway and Denmark. There are plans for even greater expansion.

Cheap heat + state support
It is often the case that new generation engineering systems cannot be installed due to technological incompatibilities, or it is economically unprofitable to install them in old buildings when renovating apartment buildings. In this case, heat pumps can be installed both in the construction of new buildings and in the renovation of buildings, as they are suitable for use both in the presence of a radiator system and when underfloor heating is chosen.

In December, an additional €4 million was allocated to encourage more households (in a single-family house or apartment (department/apartment building)) to switch to renewable energy sources – including for heat pumps – instead of fossil fuel-based equipment. Applications open until February 2022 1 on the APVIS information system .

Remote service - the possibility to constantly optimize the operation of even an older pump

All IGLU TECH products are connected to a remote service platform, which helps to detect and solve problems without calling a technician to the facility. This function allows you to monitor and record all the operating parameters of the heat pump, store them and analyze them.

Such monitoring is beneficial for all parties. The customer receives a continuously improved device: even if the pump was purchased e.g. 5 years ago, the pump is constantly improved, new software versions are released - thus the performance of even an older pump can be remotely optimized. After purchasing an IGLU TECH heat pump, the customer also receives added value.

The value of remote service is also given to the company's partners - no matter in which country they are, IGLU TECH gives them a part of the service platform. As A.Lopeta notes, in the absence of qualified specialists, the service platform is an effective solution.

"IGLU TECH heat pumps can be connected to BMS (building management systems) or monitored locally, for example by providing remote access to the chairman of an apartment building with geothermal heating," the manager tells the companies. - If monitoring needs to be handed over to third parties, to another register, it is done using the necessary protocol."

Heat - up to 6 times cheaper compared to other heating systems that use electricity

IGLU geothermal heating is the best heating solution in cold winters, when severe frosts are pressing. Therefore, this winter, with energy prices rising intensively, consumers who have installed geothermal heating will feel extremely beneficial and, compared to consumers who have installed air-to-water heat pumps, will save significantly.

As the weather cools down, the efficiency of air-to-water heat pumps decreases, and finally electricity needs to be used to produce heat.

IGLU TECH heat pumps - both "IGLU Max" and "IGLU Aleut" - have a seasonal efficiency coefficient (SCOP) as high as 5.5-5.8, when in the air-water system this coefficient is about 3. Thus, IGLU TECH heat pumps mean the lowest price per kilowatt hour - from all heat sources, regardless of the specifics of the systems. It is about 6 times lower than the price of electricity. Counting half-price heat and free geothermal cool in summer, geothermal heating is as much as 70 percent cheaper. more useful than other heating-cooling systems on the market.

As the company manager A.Lopeta notes, the faster development of geothermal heating is hindered by the lack of information for consumers. While participating in exhibitions (it is also preparing for RESTA 2022), the company communicates directly with customers and observes a clear trend: after becoming familiar with geothermal heating and hearing about its advantages, exhibition visitors usually become customers of the company.
