Changes in the Baltic division of Microsoft: a new manager has taken up her duties

 

Vaida Sapole started working as the new head of Microsoft for the Baltic countries. She became responsible for the company's business development in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In this position, V. Sapole replaced the previous manager, Renate Strazdina, who took up the position of director of Microsoft's digital transformation strategy for Central and Eastern Europe.

Lithuania's Vaida Sapole, working as the head of Microsoft for the Baltic countries, will implement the strategy of the IT company, which aims to help and more successfully implement the digital transformation of business enterprises, the public sector and the general public. It will focus on cooperation with partners operating in the Baltic States and the governments of the countries in order to better utilize the possibilities of the latest technologies.

V. Sapole has a master's degree in financial management, obtained from the Kaunas University of Technology. Before joining the Microsoft team, she accumulated more than 20 years of work experience in various international companies where she was responsible for business development, financial management and management.

As head of Microsoft's business in the Baltic States, V. Sapole will continue to implement initiatives aimed at providing everyone with equal opportunities to acquire digital skills. This will be helped by the special Baltic Digital Skills Program (Baltic Digital Skills Program), implemented as a Virtual Internship Program . The mentioned program helps the participants to more effectively apply and test the newly acquired knowledge in a real work environment.
